This last photo is taken from a scene in the move "Marie Antoinette" directed by Sofia Coppola. I want to find a miniature pair of lavender converse for my room box if possible. This would be my little homage to Sofia Coppola because here movie is what led me to read the book the movie was based on and then to make the room box. Does anyone know where I can find a "real size" pare of shoes like this? My green converse are getting warn out..Heheh!! I know there is a web page where you can create you own converse from scratch but I don't think they offer this spacific lavender color. heeh!
Over the next few weeks I am going to show some of the minis I have collected for my Marie Antoinette Room.
I love your little shoes! They are so pretty, I can see Marie wearing them :)

ReplyDeleteWhen I watched that movie with my daughter, she didn't spot the pair of modern shoes in the shot! Sofia sneaked them in to show that MA was just a teenager in a tough situation :)

ReplyDeleteNice shoes, I have some of that kind, also made by The Doll Cobbler, they are really great, even though I make most myself. I took some pictures of them with a sofa and chair in a Marie Antoinette style. I can't wait to see your room box.
ReplyDeleteDonminique. I looked at your shoes and they are beautiful. Do you have a web page where you sell them? Or a web page where I can contact you at?
ReplyDeleteEricka
Hello Ericka,
ReplyDeleteNo I don't sell anything, at least not yet... I just have those blogs where I show pictures of my personnal collections and of my handmade miniatures. But I'm also one of your followers and customers, I have a potting bench and some books coming from EV miniatures. Thanks for your comment about the shoes, I'll be waiting for the photos of the room box.
