My mermaids new home
I thought I would share my mermaids fish bowl. She usually stays in my curio cabinet. But I finally found her a permanent home in a bowl (with a lid to keep the dust out). The porcelain top was made by Sylvia Mobly and then made into a mermaid by Todd Krueger. She is surrounded by her treasure horde. Possibly in the future I may display her like she is on an island surrounded by water inside the bowl. That my lift here a little higher. But I haven't quiet figured out how I will do that:-)..
Todd is also dressing me a Marie Antoinette doll that I am so very excited to get. I will be showing off pieces of my Marie roombox soon.
also.... can anyone tell me how to break your blog up into different pages?? or does it do that automatically? I don't want to have so many photos to load on one page and jam up someones computer..

Ericka, if you go to the dashboard on your blog. You will see on the big screen ADD A GADGET, click on that and a smaller screen will pop up and give you a list of things you can add to your blog, one of them being pages. Click on the pages gadget and it will walk you through the steps. Hope that helps.

Thank you all for you help with my blog.. I think I have it figured out now:-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful display, Ericka!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if you meant other pages for extra stuff on your blog, or separate pages for each post. For the latter, they automatically get their own separate permanent page if someone clicks a blog title (for instance, this page is "http://evminiatures.blogspot.com/2010/11/my-mermaids-new-home.html", I got here by clicking it in my RSS reader.) When someone comes to your blog by just typing the main URL (http://evminiatures.blogspot.com) they will see all your posts on a big long page. You can limit the number of posts that show up on one page in your Settings, under the "Formatting" section, that will cut down on the photos to load. At the bottom of the page people will see a link for "Older Posts" to go on to the next page of posts. Hope that helps!
