This is a graphic from an old book of miracles. but to me it looks like the end of the world:-)

Medieval Illuminated book of animals

meteors or shooting stars shown in medieval times. I think the three suns drawing was actually something called a "sun dog" or maybe it was UFO. hehehe!!

Alice in Wonderland Mad hatter Tea Party

Adam and Eve being thrown out of the garden of Eden.

Illuminated Medieval book

Book I made for Patty... one of the winners of my book shop naming contest.. "It was already one in the morning; the rain pattered dismally against the panes, and my candle was nearly burnt out, when, by the glimmer of the half-extinguished light, I saw the dull yellow eye of the creature open. "

  9. Your books are the best Ericka! I always wonder what the best paper is to use, yours looks so so fine not like normal everyday paper? I try to do open books for my own projects but struggle so with getting the hang of sticking them to look like they are being flicked open. You do it so brilliantly Im so envious of your talent! 11. Thanks you guys so much.. Kate I keep meaning to say..Really cheep typing paper is thin and easy to work with. Sometimes in the craft stores they have that paper that looks like it is homemade? Not sure if you know what I mean.. That really stains up with the tea well and bends really nicely into the shape I want it too. I have made so many open books that I don't think about how I do it anymore. But I am always experimenting with different papers..
